Winter solstice essential - tang yuan! Traditionally, it’s made with glutinous rice flour, which makes it a high glycemic index food. By adding soft tofu to the dough, not only adds some proteins, but also lowers the stickiness (less chewy) of the texture, which makes it more kid-friendly and easier to swallow for the elders!
